In case of an emergency call the Wellsville Police Department -

Floods--The central part of the Village near the Genesee River and along Dyke Creek is within the 100 year flood plain.  As such it is prone to occasional flooding issues.  You should be aware if you are within the flood plain during heavy storm events.  Contact the GIS Coordinator to determine if you are within or close to the floodplain.  You should also listen to local radio channels for emergency alerts.  FM 103.5, FM 101.9, FM 105.3 and AM 720 often carry alerts.

Winds-Should winds knock down trees or knock down electric wires contact the Public Works department at 585-593-1850 or call the police dispatch to report this.  The Electric crews will work to restore power as soon as possible.  Trees within the public right of way will be dealt with as soon as possible.  Trees on private property are not the Village responsibility, but are the landowner's responsibility.
