The Village of Wellsville provides Water, Sewer, Electric and Solid Waste services to the residents of the Village on a paid rate schedule. The Village Utility Billing Office is the financial arm of the Department of Public Works for these services. They oversee the meter reading, billing and service notices that you receive. Solid Waste pickup is for residential customers only. DETAILS ON SOLID WASTE The Solid Waste Rates are a Flat monthly fee of $10.00 and are charged to all residences whether you utilize the service or not. Business customers will need to contract with another service such as LaForge or SDS for pickup. The Allegany County Department of Public Works operates a Solid Waste Transfer Station within the Village also that can be utilized by residents and businesses according to their rules and rate schedule.
